My Dressing Room owner Bea McCammon is shaking things up a bit at her closet-sized Queen Anne shop. She recently converted the space from consignment store to full-on European boutique, but she's keeping the name—and her discerning eye.

The Hungarian-born shopkeeper has curated a collection that includes new-to-the-Northwest brands like Closed (based in Hamburg, Germany), and layerable American line Neesh. And among the sophisticated-yet-wearable offerings you'll also find machine washable cashmere, hand-knitted Ecuadorian hats and scarves, and artisan leather accessories from LA-based Samantha Grissdale.

Nearly all of the shop's jewelry collection is sourced not just locally, but from Queen Anne based artisans like Joanna Morgan and Juliet Roger. Pieces are stackable and statement-making, and typically fall into an edgy, rough-hewn category that fits Seattle's moody temperament.

And McCammon doesn't just stop at retail: She offers closet consultations (sometimes you need an outsider to pry that unworn jacket from your closet) and personal styling (sometimes you need someone to tell you what actually looks good on you). If that wasn't enough, McCammon's currently spending her nights in sewing classes with the hopes of eventually launching her own line.

Stop by the Queen Anne store to meet the lovely McCammon and try on some of her hand-selected wears. The stylish collections will bring you in, but we can guarantee that the shop owner's honest and warm personality will keep you coming.
