If there is one overarching nail trend for 2012, it's the artsy manicure. Creative ladies everywhere are busting out toothpicks and rhinestones to create polish designs in patterns from chevron to wood grain. And for those of us less inclined to painting our own miniture masterpieces, someone invented the precut polish strip.

For November we love the idea of taking floral prints straight from the fall runways to deck out your digits. This season's florals tend to be bolder, moodier, and more abstract than their spring and summer counterparts—so if you're painting your own bouquet à la Izzie Klingels, stick to deep blues and purples with pops of gold. Or pick up the BP flower nail set that includes on-trend floral appliques and coordinating polishes.

Use only a few decals and paint the rest of your fingers the deep blue shade, or stick one to every nail for a full garden. Remember to apply clear top coat for a lasting look.

Find the set in Nordstrom's BP section for $12 to nail November's patterned pinkies.
