Remember when Tarboo’s last collection premiered at the creative new art junction, 1530 on Capitol Hill? The space's creative director Lucien Pellegrin renamed the space Lovecitylove and celebrated with an atypical fashion party in early February in which the deliciously modern white room was dressed with a cerulean blue paint splatter and a captivating display of Tarboo's latest collection of locally made totes and backpacks.

The art/retail installation featured the brand's original canvas totes and backpacks, along with their latest edition blanket and leather carryalls. More of a clutch carrier? Stay tuned for Tarboo's second drop of this line; we'll let you know when it hits.

The Lovecitylove launch was full of Seattle notables; we ran into Seattle Art Museum Director for Education and Public Programs, Sandra Jackson-Dumont and one half of the rap duo TheeSatisfaction. Now that your eyes are open to it, you'll see more bold-face names and stylish types sporting the sacks around town.
