The glass case at Bob’s has held Seattle dinners since 1911; James Ackley has been manning it for 10 years, his parents for 35 before that. Just about everything he puts inside butcher paper is locally raised by honest folk, but it’s his hickory-smoked beef-and-pork landjager, a handheld snacking sausage that goes for a buck apiece, that really pulls us in.
