Shop for a Good Cause hits up Greenwood Space Travel Supply on Dec 14 from 6–9 with 100 percent of shopping proceeds going to the nonprofit writing center 826 Seattle. The night will also feature astronaut food, caroling, and free gift-wrapping.

A Lump of Coal to You, Gateway Pacific 

Don a red shirt and join Sierra Club to protest the proposed Gateway Pacific coal export terminal at Cherry Point in Bellingham, which would send as many as 18 coal trains a day through Seattle. Show up to testify or simply sit and wear red in solidarity. RSVP at link below.
