Ode to Glaciers 

This week’s Meaningful Movies screening—Chasing Ice, in high definition—is sponsored by Wallingford Neighbors for Peace and Justice and the Sierra Club. The film documents photographer James Balog’s journey to prove the effect of climate change on Arctic glaciers through four years of time-lapse photography. A discussion moderated by Sierra Club representatives will follow.

Biking and Walking Architecture Tour of the ID's Historic Buildings

Cascade Bicycle Club hosts this leisurely, 25-mile ride across mostly flat terrain from Gas Works Park to the International District, where riders will put on their walking shoes and learn more about the area's historic, mostly early-20th century buildings, and stop for lunch.
