The 18 counters had their work cut out for them at the Salmon Watch 2012 at Fauntleroy Creek. West Seattle Blog reports that between October 24 and November 17, 274 coho salmon were recorded swimming through the creek. Last year there were 167, the year before that only 11. That's a lot of lox.
