NARAL Run for your Rights
In honor of influential pro-choice, tennis shoe-wearing women—e.g. the famous filibustering and maybe gubernatorial candidate Sen. Wendy Davis (D-TX) and “mom in tennis shoes,” U.S. Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA)—NARAL is hosting a “Never Underestimate A Woman In Tennis Shoes” 5K.
The money raised will support NARAL Pro-Choice Washington.

Tom Daschle for SWYFS
Southwest Youth and Family Services (SWYFS), a group that provides counseling, education, and family support in West Seattle communities, welcomes former South Dakota U.S. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle to their annual fundraising gala this weekend. Daschle, who served in the Senate until 2005, will be there with SWYFS leader, his brother Steve Daschle.
