One man's attempt to get closer to the dancers at the Lusty Lady peep show in downtown Seattle last weekend ended with him cradled in the arms of a police officer, which probably wasn’t the kind of hands-on affection the man was hoping for.

At about 1:45 on Saturday morning, the man entered the Lusty Lady—police say the man walked backwards through the front door, possibly in an attempt to obscure his face from security cameras—and entered one of the private stalls surrounding the Lusty Lady’s main stage.

According to a Lusty Lady employee, the man was in the booth for about twenty minutes when he broke through the ceiling in the small room, climbed up, and entered a crawlspace.

The Lusty Lady’s manager, Kevin, tells Seattlecrime.com the man climbed through the ceiling and made his way towards the stage. The man made his way over to the glass ceiling above the stage and promptly fell right through. Police records say one of the four dancers on stage “was startled when the man’s legs came crashing through the glass paneled ceiling above her.”

Staff at the Lusty Lady called police who showed up and ordered the man out of the ceiling. According to Kevin, the man climbed through the ceiling towards the main entrance, and fell through. "It was pretty amusing watching...him falling right into the officer’s arms," Kevin says.

Police records indicate the Lusty Lady—which is a 24-hour operation—was forced to close for several hours. No one was injured in the incident.

The man—who has a long criminal history including multiple charges for theft and marijuana possession—was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of malicious mischief. Police are also requesting charges for criminal trespassing.
