We sent local freelance photographer John Aronson to game two of the WNBA finals at Key arena last night. The Storm won 87-84 to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the best of five series.

Here are some of John's awesome shots.

Matt Hasselbeck was in the house, throwing out Storm T-shirts to fans before the game.

Atlanta's Iziane Castro Marques takes it to the hole early. Marques and McCoughtry combined for 6 of the Dream's first 7 points to jump out to an early 7-2 lead.

The Storm went to Jackson early and often. Jackson takes her first shot of the game (missed lay up). Jackson got her own rebound and was fouled. She made both shots to make it 7-4.

Lauren Jackson lays it in after a Swin Cash steal, to take the lead to 6, 75-69.

Jackson grabs a rebound in the first quarter but is trapped. Dream's defense caused an ensuing turnover.

Lots of contact and lots of fouls in game 2. Here, the Dream's McCoughtry collides with Bird in the 2nd quarter.

Angel McCoughtry of the Atlanta Dream hits a very long 3-pointer under a lot of pressure to bring the Dream to within 2 points to end the first half. There was no foul called, although McCoughtry went down hard after the shot.

Swin Cash scores 2 of her 19 points against Castro Marques.

Sue Bird drives in for a lay up to put Storm up by 1, 65-64.

Tanisha Wright scores on a running bank shot with 8 minutes left. Seattle
up 73-69.
