2012 Election
Election Results Preview
Results from various counties across the state are still coming in (and results in some of the key King County and Seattle races aren't in yet), but here are the highlights so far. Note that both King and Snohomish Counties' results are still outstanding.
In the race for governor, Republican Rob McKenna is currently about four points ahead of Democrat Jay Inslee.
In the First District Congressional race, Democrats Darcy Burner and Suzan DelBene are going through to take on Republican John Koster, with DelBene firmly in the lead and Koster with a majority of the vote (around 52 percent at last count).
Greg Nickels is out of the running for secretary of state, behind Republican Kim Wyman and Democrat Kathleen Anderson.
And Democrat Bob Ferguson is nearly eight points ahead of Republican Reagan Dunn in the race for attorney general.
Much more to come.
