THANK YOU VERY MUCH for publishing this list on your site! It is much appreciated and will be very well utilized!
Dr Doug Lee is my oncologist and he is one of the kindest and most capable doctors I have had the priviledge to know. I feel blessed to have him in my life and am so excited to see him receive this recognition. It is certainly deserved
when do you start gathering nominations for best doctors? And how to I nominate someone?
How do you nominate a doctor? My mothers Ear doctor is amazing, caring and the best bedside manner I have ever experienced by a doctor..His staff and office are great too..He is not with a big group..is that why I do not see him listed in this publication? She has gone to other doctors in Seattle..never been as happy and well as her current doctor. I would like to see him on your list .

I am so thrilled to see my sister’s name there again this year. I have lost track of how many years in a row she has made this list! No surprise to me that she does, but very gratifying to see that she gets credit for being such a wonderful doctor.

I have been a patient of Brad Harris’ for close to 30 years. He is the best! He has an awesome bed side manner and you never feel like you are rushed in and out. I would highly, highly recommend him to anyone living in the Seattle area or surrounds.
It is very disappointing that the general public cannot have a say as to our personal experiences and opinions on Health Care Providers, Small practices are almost Never acknowledged. I would Love to nominate Puget Sound Plastic Surgery for Best of. Dr. Stridde is an amazing Surgeon who really educates his patients on the best decisions for them, and his staff are all wonderful.
Hi Kathleen, Thanks for your comment. There are in fact three doctors affiliated with the University of Washington Medical Center on our list: surgical oncologist David R. Byrd, genetics specialist Thomas D. Bird, and pain specialist David J. Tauben.
I don’t see physicians from UW Medicine on your list. Is there any systemic reason that they are excluded? Or were they just not nominated and vetted?
LOOKING FOR A NEW DOCTOR IN A DIFFERANT AREA I AM LIVING,SEATAC !
For commenters interested in the nomination process for Seattle Met‘s Top Doctors survey: In the spring prior to the Doctors issue, we have sought nominations from medical professionals practicing in Western Washington via mail and email promotions, and we’ve promoted the survey on our website. Lay readers are not eligible to nominate their favorite doctors.
I’m looking for a to arthritis specialist. I don’t see any listed. Why not?
Steve Harris
hi, I found your Dr. listed in the 2010 Saettle Met magazine under Top Doctors August 2010 issue. Yea!! Also good!
Dr Jon Huseby is my asthma and chronic lung disease doctor and he is one of the kindest and most capable doctors I have had the priviledge to know. I feel blessed to have him in my life and am so excited to see him receive this recognition once again. It is certainly deserved. He also has a wonderful staff.
A large of these percentage of these physicians are not taking new patients. Could you either not include them or make a note saying which docs are not taking new patients? If you use this list and call around, it can get very frustrating.
Thanks!
Oops, I just saw the asterisk. Thanks for including that.
