If you’re not in the growler game yet, here’s what you need: a jug and some place to fill it. Growlers come in two sizes—the smaller 32-oz bottle called a bullet, and the larger, more common 64-oz. Most places that fill the jugs also sell them. Refilling old jugs is generally encouraged, just make sure you wash 'em out first.

Here, where to get your (discounted) brew before hibernating for the evening.

Chuck’s Hop Shop
All day Monday, $10 Mac and Jacks and $10 Manny’s fills.

Silver City Brewery and Taphouse
3-5pm Monday through Saturday, $2 off growler fills—bullets or regular size. Sign up for the email list or check the Facebook page for more info.

Bottleworks
$2 off 64-oz fills, $1 off 32-oz fills, all day Monday.

Pine Box
From 3-6pm, seven days a week, the regular happy hour of $1 off drinks applies to growler fills, from almost all its (30-something) taps.

Bellevue Brewing Company
Half-off all BBC 64-oz fills, all day Monday and Tuesday. This will be changing at some point in December; check Facebook for updates.

Fremont Brewing Company
A 64-oz fill of Harvest Ale is only $6 right now (most beers regularly $8), while supplies last (likely another month or so).

Two Beers Brewing
Tuesdays only, $6 year-round beers (regularly $8), $10 fills of imperials and seasonals (regularly $14).
