A special holiday menu walks the line between breakfast (huckleberry pancakes, braised lamb shank omelet, bananas foster waffle) and lunch (mac and cheese, croque madame, lamb burger). Call 425-424-2999 for reservations. If you prefer the buffet route, the Willows Lodge's Sammamish Ballroom has seatings at 10 and 2 that are $50 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under.

Bin on the Lake

Head to the eastern shore of Lake Washington, specifically the Woodmark Hotel for bacon beignets, amaretto brioche French toast, roast halibut, and more. Make a reservation at 425-803-5595. The more casual Beach Cafe is also serving a brunch menu.

Boka

The regular brunch menu is available, as well as festive plates like a house-smoked ham with country biscuits, a smoked sablefish benedict, and lemon ricotta pancakes. Five dollar mimosas are involved.

Copperleaf Restaurant and Bar

How Much: $52 for adults, $25 for kids 6 to 12, younger ones eat free

The setting is just about perfect for a nicer Easter meal and chef Mark Bodinet's buffet of breakfast classics and springtimey fare sounds like a thing of beauty. The four-course prix fixe option includes grilled Pacific Hamachi and Nash Family Farm rabbit with cider-braised Yakima apples, cauliflower, and almond financier. Call 206-214-4282 for reservations.

The Corson Building

Matt Dillon's Georgetown spot is doing multiple courses that culminate in ham. Plus the garden setting just screams Easter. Make a reservation here.

The Hunt Club

If you're seeking a proper old-school buffet, head to the Sorrento Hotel for a carving station of roast beef and roast leg of lamb, plus a Belgian waffle station and plenty of Benedicts and springy salads. Here's the menu.

Ivar's (full-service restaurants)

How Much: $35 for adults $15 kids 6 to 12, little kids are free

Ivar's Acres of Clams and Salmon House are putting on a buffet loaded up with Alaskan salmon, mussels, clams, oysters, crab, crepes, prime rib, and all the breakfast classics. The Mukilteo Landing is doing a plated brunch version.

Koral and Pearl Bar and Dining

Accessible Northwest brunch plates (smoked salmon scramble, Dungeness crab cakes, corned beef hash) in downtown Bellevue. All entrees come with a housemade lemon-currant scone, choice of appetizer, and potatoes.

MistralKitchen

Mistral puts an extra-festive spin on its already lovely brunch. Dishes include buttermilk biscuits with duck confit and black pepper gravy, crudo, charcuterie, and a 48-hour short rib served up with a fried egg. Call 206-623-1922 for reservations.

Monsoon

How Much: Half a crab for $18

The regular brunch menu will be in place, but Easter = all-day-long Dungeness crab. Namely a half of the chilled crustacean with brown butter dipping sauce and salt and pepper vinaigrette. Call 206-325-2111 for a reservation. If you're more of an Easter dinner type, a whole two-pound Dungeness is $30 at the regular Sunday night crab feast. Oh, and all bottles of wine are 30 percent off on Sunday nights. So that's handy.

Ponti Seafood Grill

How Much: $29 per person; kids are $15 and there's a small surcharge for a few items

Start off with fruit parfaits and baked goods, move on to either a salad or roasted tomato soup, then get down to the business of seafood. The third course has eight different entree options that range from breakfasty (Macrina brioche French toast with pepper-basil bacon) to savory (grilled king or sockeye salmon) to beefy (steak with cracked pepper chimichurri).

Ray's Boathouse
When: Buffet brunch in the Cafe is 9:30–3, dinner buffet is 3–7:30. The Boathouse's sit-down brunch is 10–2:30 (followed by regular dinner service).

Ballard's waterside stalwart, with a newly refreshed dining room, is serving both brunch and dinner. Go for a brunch or dinner buffet upstairs in the Cafe, or a sit-down brunch downstairs in the Boathouse dining room. The morning's special menu includes butter-poached cod, a hangtown fry, or roast leg of lamb.

Rione XIII

Brandon Kirksey heads up the kitchen at Ethan Stowell's Romana-style trattoria and his take on Easter mixes eggs (guanciale frittata, poached duck eggs on baguette) with pizzas, pastas, Italian-inspired salads and straight-up meat (porchetta, veal sweetbreads with baby artichokes).  Don't worry, there are Easter-appropriate cocktails, too.

Sazerac Restaurant

Some highlights of the extensive brunch buffet include honey cured bacon, housemade Andouille sausage, and creole eggs Benedict.

Schwartz Brothers Restaurants

How Much: $38 for adults at Daniel’s Broiler locations in Bellevue and Lake Union and $30 at Chandler’s Crabhouse. Children’s menus, for ages six to 10, are $10.

Daniel's Broiler and Chandler's Crabhouse are serving special Easter starter-and-entree menus (think strawberries and cream and a Dungeness omelet, or clam chowder and corned beef hash), while Spazzo Italian Grill will have a few Easter items alongside its regular menu. Maria Hines's organic original is made for events like Easter brunch. Her three-course options include a radish sprout salad with roasted carrot and blue cheese, cheddar biscuits and smoked chicken gravy, and that sourdough waffle.

Enjoy a freshly squeezed cocktail (bloody mary anyone?), while munching on smoked salmon ravioli with asparagus and lemon cream or a frittata full of grilled veggies and goat cheese.

The Capitol Hill brunch standard is doing its usual seasonal and adorable thing on Easter Sunday. But baker Emily Weeks (formal title "pastry princess") has amped up the baked goods offerings with hot cross buns, sugar cookies shaped like bunnies and eggs, and birds' nest cupcakes.

PASSOVER

Golden Beetle

How Much: A five-course menu runs $40. 

Guys, did you not know that Maria Hines is Jewish? Okay, that's a lie, but Golden Beetle chef de cuisine Ariel Fishman-Larsch is, and Hines thought it would be nice to have her chef teach her the ways of this particular culinary tradition. While the kitchen isn't kosher, the menu consists of plates like housemade matzoh with horseradish jam, braised mustard greens with roasted garlic and fried navy beans, and lamb kebabs. Wine pairings are also available; make a reservation by calling 206.706.2977 or online.

Stopsky's Delicatessen

The Mercer Island restaurant had a lovely Passover spread in March's Bon Appetit, and chef Austin Zimmerman is recreating that menu throughout Passover. Dinner starts with housemade matzo and moves on to smoked cod fritters, pulled lamb shank, a choice of harissa-braised short ribs or pan-seared chicken, and finally some lime-coconut macaroons. Book a group of 10 or more and the host eats free.

Sinfully Sunday at Belltown Pub

How Much: Well, you should probably order a bloody Mary or two

Okay, this hunt is definitely not for the kids. In fact it's 21 and older. Bloody Mary in hand, you can scour the Belltown bar in search of plastic red and black eggs hidden around the premises. Each one contains prizes. Afterward: fuel up on the pub's hefty brunch.

Snoqualmie Ice Cream Easter Egg Hunt
