Wide receiver Sidney Rice likes wings. Wingstop wings. A lot. So much so that he has invested in the company and is opening five new locations around Seattle. The region's first outpost of the Texas-based wing chain arrived last year in Bellevue.

According to the official release, the first of the Rice-partnered locations will open later this year in Tacoma and Kent. Said release also contains this quote: “Wingstop is my favorite restaurant. I travel a lot, and as soon as I land, the first thing I do is find the closest Wingstop.”

In summary, the man likes wings (here's some visual proof). Between Golden Tate's Top Pot proclivities and Marshawn Lynch's well-documented affinity for Skittles, Seattle's football players have awfully strong feelings about food. I wonder how Wingstop pairs with Drew Bledsoe's Walla Walla cabernet? And can somebody on the Seahawks please form a similar obsession with Steak 'N Shake or In 'N Out?
