OPENINGS

Bellevue Brewing Company
A major new brewery has arrived in town, and just celebrated its grand opening. Scott Hansen, founder of Leavenworth Biers, and real estate guy/beer enthusiast John Robertson founded the new brewery, taproom, and bar.

Agrodolce
Was it intentional that Maria Hines's newest venture opened on the eve of doomsday? Ballsy. Well, we’re all still here and ready to tip our hats to southern Italy and Sicily at her third restaurant, located in Fremont.

COMING SOON

Madison Kitchen
Former Vios Cafe manager Jim Goodall is about to open his own deli of sorts. Eater Seattle says the menu will be perfect for picnics with soups, salads, and sandwiches available for takeout. Goodall hopes to open at the end of this month.

Yard House
Yard House, the downtown Borders replacement that will harbor 130 draft beers, is opening on February 10, according to its online help-wanted posting.

Seattle needs another gluten-free bakery...I’m serious. News of this venture broke earlier this week, now partners Phebe Rossi and Amanda Bedell just need to find a storefront for their bakery, potentially in either Capitol Hill or Wallingford.

Zaccagni's
In case you missed it, Darlene Boline is opening Zaccagni's, an Italian-style roasted sandwich shop in Pike Place Market. Meat is the main idea, with vegetarian options as well. Fingers are crossed for the beginning of January.

Il Corvo
Did you also go through withdrawals when the pastaria temporarily closed to move locales? Well, the wait is just about over. Il Corvo will be opening New Years Eve for a special six-course dinner, but then really opening on January 7. Start your countdown now.

SHAKEUPS

Saley Crepes
Capitol Hill Seattle blog spoke with Aissa Diouf, owner of Saley Crepes, about her plan to move from 1650 E Olive way to new digs just a few blocks away, near 8th and Olive. Her reason? A better kitchen space for her sandwiches and crepes.

REVAMPS

Dirty Bucket Brewing
Woodinville Patch says that the young brewery has done so well its first months that an expansion is already in the works. Attributing the early success to the support from patrons, the Bucket crew plans to purchase more brewing equipment as well as the additional space next door. The winter ale was just released yesterday.

DELAYS

The Armory
That rumored happy hour starting at the new Armory? Queen Anne View says we’ll have to wait another month until February 21. But it’ll be worth it with these powerhouse restaurants on the list.
