The Culinary Cowboy
Learn about beef and eat it too at the Palace Ballroom. During this class taught by Bryan Ulring of Bar L Ranch in Montana, the real deal cowboy discusses raising grassfed, hormone- and antibiotic-free cattle. Salinte! A Celebration of Scottish Fare

Say Goodbye to Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill
After sating Eastsiders’ Southwestern cravings for 11 years, Z’Tejas is closing on Saturday. Say "adios" with $2 beer and house wine and $5 drink specials on Saturday between 7 and 11pm

Greenwood Lit Crawl
The third annual Five Alarms literary, music, and culinary crawl begins at Greenwood's Chocolati Cafe at 5. From there the group will head to Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Cafe, Bherd Studios, and finally Naked City Brewery and Taphouse. The event is free, but the food and drinks are on you. Michael Mina wine bar RN74 shifts gears for an evening dedicated to Gordon and MacPhail scotch. Over a five-course tasting menu, local spirits man Andrew Bohrer will shed insight on each selection. Team America: World Police at King’s Hardware
