Flying Squirrel won’t be slicing artisanal ’za in Maple Leaf till August.

CAPITOL HILL
CHS shares details on Five Fish Bistro. The eatery expects to open mid-fall in the Broadway UPS space and will specialize in fish and chips “with an upscale twist.” Five varieties will be on offer daily, plus panini and salad.

Spinasse is celebrating its third anniversary with a series of four-course dinners costing $50 with options for wine pairing. Dates are August 7, 14, and 21; reservations are encouraged.

Eater provides an update on Blue Moon Burgers and Li’l Woody’s. Look for the former next week and Woody’s by the beginning of August (both are a bit behind schedule). [UPDATE: Reps from Blue Moon say the opening date is set for August 6.]
