On October 2, the Queen Anne Farmers Market presents the first ever fundraising hands-on cooking workshop dinner, hosted and led by cofounder of Pantry at Delancey, Olaiya Land. This interactive class will feature fresh Washington produce from market vendors, and prepared farm-to-table dishes will be enjoyed family style. Only a few tickets remain, with all proceeds going towards the farmers market.
You may not think of Peso's as your spot to watch the game, but nonetheless, this bar throws Sunday Funday Seahawks parties every week. The chef prepared ribs for Monday night's football debacle/victory, along with drink specials and halftime giveaways. Next week the 'Hawks play in St. Louis at 10am.

Unfortunately (or thankfully) whipped cream and sugar at the fruit bar might cancel out any attempts at healthy.
Tilth chef Maria Hines and chef de cuisine Jason Brzozowy launched a new three-course, $30 fixed-price Market Menu this week. The ever-fresh ingredients, together with an optional $12 wine pairing, will be offered between 5 and 6, Sunday through Thursday. The menu will change often, but the most current one will be posted to Tilth’s website.
Well, that was awkward. Midwest native Jay Wergin, owner of the Benbow Room, hosted most likely one of the only Packers-fans-welcome parties in the city at his establishment Monday night. We can only imagine what that must have been like. Hopefully next week will turn out better for the Cheeseheads, who can find solace every week at this pirate-themed bar.
Ma'ono, the Restaurant Formerly Known as Spring Hill has always done brunch, but now those brunches are accompanied with bottomless mimosas. Buy a $12 mimosa and the restaurant promises you won't be seeing the bottom of that glass as long as you are eating food. And aren't drunk. Brunch runs 10-2 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Sunland Inc., a New Mexico based company, recalled 76 types of peanut and almond butter after a product sold to Trader Joe’s was linked to a salmonella outbreak. TJ’s Creamy and Crunchy Salted Valencia Peanut (and Almond) Butter manufactured between May 1 and September 24 were recalled after the grocery store consulted with the FDA and CDC.
