Negroni: gin, Campari, sweet vermouth

Stylist: André Mora
On Set Bartender: Andrew Bohrer

SO GLAD YOU ASKED. We’ve spent the last two years living and breathing local bars, interviewing bartenders and business owners, studying the cocktail canon, and sipping way too many stiff drinks to count. The result: This list of our 25 favorite Seattle cocktail bars, including the 10 spots—superbly staffed, welcoming to all—that we think you need to visit right now. For garnish, an introduction to seven of our city’s master drink makers (all of whom happen to be women) and five of our local “heroes of the hooch.” They’re just a few of the many freethinking spirits who’ve made our toastworthy drinking scene what it is today. You may not know it, but you live in a cocktail mecca, Seattle. Drink it up.

Thanks for reading!

No Knee High Stocking Co? Vito’s? Il Bistro? Their contribution is a Negroni? Really?
