The next few weeks are packed with opportunities to meet vendors, tour venues, try on pretty stuff, and take home some goodies.

You’re popular. Everyone says so. They all want you at their events, in their spaces, around their tables, booths, and lounge seats. If you’ve got time to stop by the following shows and exhibits, I can guarantee the planners, florists, stylists, caterers, and other assorted designers, artisans, and dream-makers will be very happy to see you.

Where: Paper Zone in SoDo
What: Wedding Extravaganza, in which area vendors and you mix and mingle inside the stationery-and-more store and discuss ideas for all manner of wedding and reception celebrations. Guests include: Mike’s Amazing Cakes, Goodtimes Karaoke and Entertainment, La Vie Photography, Junebug Weddings, the Wine Outlet, and Celeste Cooning (pictured to the left).
When: Saturday February 19 from 11 to 3

Where: Clise Mansion and Robinswood House
What: An open house featuring bites from the in-house catering crew.
When: Saturday February 12 from 10:30 to 1:30


Casino_night_hilton_issaquah

Where: Hilton Garden Inn, Issaquah
What: I Do Casino Night. Roll the dice (yes really, there will be games, people) and get to know folks like Gina Mary Hair Design, Victoria Graceson Floral, and Sugar Rush Baking Company.
When: Thursday March 3 from 6 to 9


Where: Pan Pacific Hotel
What: An open house — just be sure to get there on time; the ceremony is slated to start right on time. No, we’re not sure who’s getting “married” either but it’ll be a fun way to witness the wares of vendors like Azzura Photography, Bamboo Beats, Aria Style, and more. Cocktails, appetizers, and, get this: catch the bouquet and you’ll land a prize.
When: Thursday February 17 from 5:30 to 8:30


Where: Swink Style Bar Downtown
What: A bridal showcase focused on beauty consultations with Swink stylists and a Stella Dot (pictured) accessories stylist. Give Laura Mach Banks’ photobooth a try and see if you can’t picture yourself on the big day. More vendors, snacks, sips, and swag bags are all lined up.
When: Thursday February 24 from 6 to 8

A Stella Dot stylist will be at Swink Style Bar to help you think about your wedding-day look.


Where: Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club, and Spa in Kirkland
What: Voila!, as in, it’s really that easy. The Eastside event venue will be decked out with various themes, colors, and ideas and drinks and snacks will be available here and there. Your job is just to wander happily through and talk with folks like Pink Blossom Events, Panache Events, La Belle Reve, Paper Fling, Vintage Proverbs 3:56 and others.
When: Sunday March 20 from 12:30 to 4:30

And, just in case a free trip to the Cook Islands sounds nice, check out Sur La Table’s honeymoon giveaway. The locally based kitchen retailer is celebrating their new gift registry with this fairly grand prize. You have until April 6 to enter.

Hi Laura,
Thanks for the heads up on the Paper Zones Wedding Extravaganza event. They had some unique vendors and creative DIY ideas for brides on a budget.
