This kid gets a book, you get a swanky hotel suite.

Today marks the beginning of the fourth annual Passports with Purpose fundraiser, a contest that benefits travel junkies and the people that follow them online.

Here’s the deal: Dozens of bloggers wrangled one prize each from their favorite stores and destinations. Readers can enter to win by donating $10 to this year’s charitable project, Room to Read, which builds libraries in Zambia. Past contests have raised as much as $64,000 dollars for far-flung communities, so expectations are high—like $80,000 high.

But who are we kidding—it’s all about the free stuff, right? Prizes include travel loot like a Kindle Fire, 110,000 Hyatt hotel loyalty points, and awesome hotel stays. There’s a two-nighter at the Four Seasons Seattle if you’re game for a staycation, or a four-night stay at the Honua Kai Resort in Maui if you’re not. Each donation gets you an entry into a single prize bin, so start saving your pennies. The contest ends December 16, and prizes are handed out before Christmas.
