Lost Lady Closes!
The downtown tequila bar shuts down after a month and a half. That must be some kind of record.

Just yesterday I sent out a Twitter asking what was up with the Lost Lady American Cantina, because of the passionate comments I got in response to the post I wrote about it back in March when it opened. (Here’s a prophetic one, regarding the owner: “This guy is a sinking ship. Run for your lives!”) I just got a voicemail confirmation from their former rep that the restaurant has closed. Wow.
So uh, Don’t go there for Cinco de Mayo. Awkward.
That is SUPER fast. We went to their opening party, and it made us miss the Union Square Grill. Just found your blog and I love the theme (it’s “alcoholism,” right?) – looking forward to trying some of your suggestions.
Thanks Snotty…though I prefer the term “alcohol appreciation.” To each his own.
