In an effort to milk the media buzz, Pioneer Square-based Dry Soda has spent weeks telling us about how it’s not telling us what its new flavor is. But now: An announcement.

The all-natural soda company’s newest soda is Wild Lime. Press materials describe it as “a dry (meaning less sweet) take on the old-guard, too sweet lemon/lime soda.”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Dry Soda is the best thing to offer a pregnant lady who is in the throes of wine withdrawal. (How do you know she’s in the throes? She’ll say something like: “Pregnancy is so awesome! I mean sure, I miss merlot a little bit,” but you will be able to hear her teeth grinding as she says it.) The soda helps. I’ve seen it with my own two eyes.

Personally though, I take mine with an ounce or two of gin and a twist.
