Opening Date for Potbelly Sandwich Works
The Chicago-based chain comes to downtown Seattle.
On Tuesday, June 7, Potbelly Sandwich Shop opens its first Seattle store downtown at Fourth and Pike.
If you’ve never experienced Potbelly, it’s like this: people—people in the Midwest, other people on the East Coast—are obsessed with it. They’re obsessed with its sandwiches and its milk shakes, mostly. The meatball sandwich is a big draw, as is the pizza sandwich. On certain weekdays in downtown Washington, DC, I’ve seen lines of people in navy-blue suits that stretched half a city block. Those suits were waiting for Potbelly pizza sandwiches.
The opening will follow a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:45 am on the seventh.

I the Seattle location is anything like the one in Chicago, it’s not to be missed!
