From over 21,000 entries the James Beard Foundation has picked its 2010 semifinalists, and Seattle is really well represented. Congrats to all our local kitchen talent.

Why would anyone pick Canlis, except for the view, when there are soooo many fabulous places from which to choose. The things that made Canlis famous are long gone including the free parking. Even though Canlis has reinvented itself with a refreshed menu, the snob appeal and expense account clients are what most people think of.
