I went to see Mike Birbiglia (of This American Life “first kiss” storytelling fame) at the Moore on Friday night, and I …. well, I’m almost afraid to admit it… but I think I liked his opening act more. Do you know Nick Thune, rhymes with “doubloon,” Seattle native who now lives in LA? I’m probably years behind the curve on this one, but have pity: I didn’t grow up here.
Comedy Central put out his debut album, Thick Noon, earlier this year, and I like his stuff so much, I might even steal it on the interweb. (Kidding, feds, kidding.)
