Seattle’s Glee Flash Mob Filmed for National TV
Monday’s dance party will be featured on fall episode of What Not to Wear.

If you happened to pass by Occidental Park in Pioneer Square on Monday afternoon and saw people dancing en masse (again) to “Don’t Stop Believin’,” know that it wasn’t just any old Glee-inspired flash mob. Seattle’s “flash mob guys”—aka the Mobfather Egan Orion, who organizes the events, and choreographers Bobby Bonsey and Beth Meberg—were contacted by the TLC show What Not To Wear and asked to organize a flash mob for one of their episodes, set to air later this year. That’s right: Seattle’s flash mobbin’ for national television.
Looks like things are picking up for the Flash Mob Seattle crew. It all started with the 1,000-strong turnout they had for the original Glee mob in April (see below), followed by a photo shoot for the cover of our July issue. Then Microsoft asked them to organize a bi-coastal mob (NYC and Seattle) to help promote Office 2010, and now…Stacy and Clinton come callin’. There’s also another big project in the works for early fall, but we have to maintain a little secrecy, don’t we? After all…flash mobs aren’t called “well-organized, predetermined mobs” for a reason.
