About this blog

Nosh Pit is your minimum daily requirement for all the tasty stuff that puts the “eat” in Seattle.

About the author

Kathryn Robinson has reviewed restaurants in Seattle for over 25 years. Sauced

By Jessica Voelker

Jessica Voelker
About this blog

Sauced is a blog about Seattle bars and booze.

About the author

During her travels abroad, Seattle Met Lifestyle Editor Jessica Voelker learned the fastest way to get to really know a city is to pull up a bar stool. Since moving to Seattle she’s visited more public houses than any respectable person should, but the local drinking scene continues to intoxicate her.

Culture Fiend

By Laura Dannen

Laura Dannen
About this blog

Here at Seattle Met, we all have a little Culture Fiend inside us. Trust our reliable team of entertainment junkies, led by arts editor Laura Dannen, to bring you the best Seattle has to offer in theater, music, art, and more. We’ll cover it all, from celebrity news to dance reviews, and we promise not to rhyme mid-sentence…that often.

To receive Laura’s picks and best bets for arts and entertainment events via email, sign up for Seattle Met’s On the Town newsletter.

About the author

Before joining the team at Seattle Metropolitan, Laura Dannen covered all things A&E as deputy editor of Time Out Singapore. She’s also an award-winning reporter and editor whose bylines have appeared in Time Out New York, The Boston Globe, the Newark Star-Ledger, and Metro newspapers. She has an addiction to concerts, plays and movies, so it’s a good thing she gets to make a living out of covering them. It’s an expensive habit otherwise.

About the author

Laura Cassidy shops for a living. Seriously. As style editor at Seattle Metropolitan and editor of Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom, she’s required to linger over stacks of cashmere scarves, note the prevalence of notched lapels versus peaked ones, and deliberate over locally grown dahlias in pink, berry, or plum. Formerly, as a staff writer and editor at Seattle Weekly, she was paid to eat in great restaurants and stand in loud rock clubs. She wasn’t paid very much though.
