Guten, beer-swilling friends. As the travel enthusiasts on Tripster remind us, the coming weeks bring Oktoberfests aplenty. For those less inclined to venture afield, however, the annual bacchanalia in Fremont takes place this weekend.

As always, an abundance of seasonal suds, local and otherwise, will flow. Seattle Beer News has some suggestions as to where your tokens should go, including the High Pockety Pale Ale and Lovequaff Golden Ale from the newly discovered Seattle Brewing Company. Also worth checking out is Georgetown Brewing's Tomberfest, the Lazy Boy Oktoberfest, and Elysian's Night Owl Pumpkin Ale. You can't go wrong when Elysian and pumpkins are in the mix.
