Big news! I don’t mean to dismiss Tavern Law as a restaurant in its own right—or chefs Brian McCracken and Dana Tough, whose food is widely respected in this town—but to me, TL’s cocktail program, and kind of the whole place, is David Nelson. It will be fascinating to see how the restaurant adjusts.
Also, I’m dying to know where Nelson is planning to take all that talent. You’ll know when I do.
