The Book of Mormon: funnier than the actual Book of Mormon.

An email just went out to Broadway at the Paramount subscribers announcing this lovely bit of news: The Book of Mormon will return to Seattle for another three-week run at the Paramount Theatre, July 22–August 10, 2014. I have a call out to see if single tickets will be available—or if this is a subscriber-only perk—and will update this post when I know. (Update: Single tickets will be available at a later date; the best way to find out presale info is to sign up for STG's e-newsletter.)

Subscriptions are currently on sale for the 2013–14 season, which includes The Lion King, Once, Evita, The Wizard of Oz, and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. (Read more about the upcoming season here.) I had heard murmurings about The Book of Mormon coming back for round two, given its wildly successful—and very sold out—run here in January. (The show made nearly $2 million in ticket sales in one week in Seattle.) And there are still plenty of people here who have yet to see the foul-mouthed, heartwarming musical about Mormon missionaries in Africa. Here's your chance.
