Seattle Repertory Theatre debuted 50 years ago today with a production of King Lear. To celebrate the occasion, the theater is selling ticket vouchers at the 1963 price of $5. If you have any inclination that you might want to check out a play at Seattle Rep between now and May, today is the day to act.  The vouchers can be used for any of the locally produced shows in the 2013-14 season: The Hound of the Baskervilles, A Great Wilderness, Venus in Fur, The Suit, and Who's Afraid of Virgina Wolf. The only show on the Rep's schedule that the vouchers won't be redeemable for is the touring production of Once that's coming to the Paramount in June.

The $5 Seattle Rep ticket vouchers can be purchased at seattlerep.strangertickets.com. Supplies are limited, so act fast.
