As the resident New Jersey transplant in the Seattle Met office, I've been waiting impatiently to hear word of a Bruce Springsteen concert within driving distance. Now there are two: The Boss and the E Street Band will play Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC on November 26 and Rose Garden Arena in Portland on November 28. True fans won't be dissuaded by a Monday or Wednesday night concert outside city limits—not when they read this review of Bruce's Philly show that nearly went four hours the other night. His encore was longer than most sets at Bumbershoot.

Tickets for the Portland concert go on sale September 22, 10am, and the Canada show is on sale September 28,  10am, both at ticketmaster.com.

So...Vancouver on Monday. Portland on Wednesday. Don't be surprised if we get word of a Seattle show on a Tuesday sometime soon.
