Pop Cult: Copycat Killing

ROSIE LARSEN’S about to become the most obsessed-over murdered fictional local since Laura Palmer washed ashore near Twin Peaks. AMC network’s The Killing (debuting April 3), like David Lynch’s locally shot ’90s TV mystery, tracks the lives caught in the aftermath of a teen girl’s slaying. In this case it’s Rosie’s parents, the cops, and a Seattle City Council president running for mayor. Not in common with Twin Peaks: This whodunit’s being filmed in Vancouver, BC.
