I'm not someone who believes that our current world of iPhone touch technology and glossy screens is upending literacy.

To the contrary, I think our supposed techno-dystopia is actually making people read and write more.

Look around on the bus. I refuse to believe everybody is simply playing Hero Academy.

Having said that: I always feel like it's a Fonzie moment when I pull an actual book out of my backpack and start reading on the ride home.
