Wooden O returns to deliver Shakespeare to Seattle area parks.

Seattle Shakespeare Company provided double the Shakespearean goodness when it unveiled the lineups for the 2014–15 season and this summer's Wooden O series. Once again, Wooden O delivers a month of free Shakespeare performances at a multitude of Seattle area parks from July 10 to August 10. The Two Gentlemen of Verona provides the summer's comedy with its tale of tension among foolish friends and lovers. To counter with a little tragedy, Seattle Shakes also presents the Roman power struggle of Julius Caesar.

For the main (indoor) season, Seattle Shakes presents three works by the Bard of Avon, one Samuel Beckett play, and Moliere's Tartuffe. The season kicks off in September with Beckett's tragicomedy Waiting for Godot, followed by Shakespeare's comedies Twelfth Night and Measure for Measure. The season concludes with the classic tragedy Othello.

Season tickets for the 2014–15 season are on sale now at seattleshakespeare.org. Four-show packages are $80–$160 and tickets for all five productions are $94–$204.
