Last Day for Park(ing) Day Registration

The one-day-only event isn’t until September 19, but today is the last day to register. In order to raise awareness of a walkable and livable city, SDOT is asking citizens to draw up a plan for a park that will fit into two parking spaces on an arterial street or one spot on a residential street. There aren't very many rules beyond that besides a few height restrictions.

Check out a sketch of PubliCola's plan in yesterday's Morning Fizz for a little inspiration and get to planning your own parklet today.

Last Day for Park(ing) Day Registration, Fri, Aug 29, free
