Winter Rye Tasting
The Barrel Thief is hosting a winter rye tasting at 7. Try 10 different ryes, from classics such as Templeton and Sazerac to eclectic tastes, including Angel’s Envy, aged in Caribbean rum casks. The quarter-ounce samples come with a full tutorial about how the rye is distilled and how to use it in a classic cocktail. Attendance is limitied to 20 participants. Tickets are $20 and available online.

Free Pizza at Pagliacci
You heard right. Because customers can take orders to go now, the slice bar in Edmonds is giving away two slices. For free. Come anytime bewteen 11 and 4 to feast on the deliciously greasy goodness.

Bailey-Boushay House Chefs’ Dinner
Bell Harbor International Conference Center is presenting the Bailey-Boushay House Chefs’ Dinner beginning at 5. Following the hors d’ouvres reception with a silent wine auction, a multi-course dinner will be prepared by several local chefs, including Leslie Mackie of Macrina Bakery and Mike Easton of Il Corvo. Gala Dinner with Angela Meade
Following the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions, Metropolitan Opera performer and regional winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Northwest Angela Meade will be performing during the gala dinner at the Fairmount Olympic Holtel. Tickets are $150 and available online.

Chicken Wings at Ba Bar
This Vietnamese street food spot is starting a new tradition: 50-cent chicken wings every Tuesday. All. Day. Long. Come in and try either the Saigon wings with fish sauce and caramelized sugar or one rotating preparation—or both. Orders come with 10 wings.

The Seattle Wine and Food Experience is back at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall on Sunday, February 23.
