Original Music Inspired by A Homemade Life
The Bushwick Book Clubwill be hosting a night of food and music inspired by local author Molly Wizenberg's memoir. Pacific Science Center is breaking out its STEMware (yep) and giving guests unlimited tastings from 20 different Washington wineries from 7–10pm There will also be cork crafts, science demos, and food pairings. $45 tickets are available online.
FRIDAY, April 25
Arcade Lights Tasting Festival
Enjoy a night of sampling the best food and brews that Pike Place Market has to offer. From 7–10pm (6:30 for advance ticket holders), the market will be serving up samples from over 60 purveyors, including Rachel’s Ginger Beer, Mt. Townsend Creamery, and Fremont Brewing Company. Each ticket is good for 10 tasting tokens—but the price goes up $13 at the door, so get tickets in advance online. Proceeds benefit the Pike Place Market Foundation.
Sounders Rally at SPORT
Author and broadcaster Mike Gastineau is teaming up with SPORT Restaurant and Bar to rally for the home game against the Colorado Rapids on the 26th. Gastineau will be signing his new book, Sounders FC: Authentic Masterpiece from 5–7. $25 will get you a signed copy of the book and some tempura bacon and bourbon from chef John Howie.

Hot Cakes Brunch Workshop
Ballard's favorite molten cakery will be teaming up with Sarah Adler of Simply Real Health (now there's an ironic pairing) for a morning filled with food, cocktails, and of course, desserts. $50 tickets are available online.

Cooking Dolls Pop-Up
Chef Olive Huang will be serving up a Taiwanese dinner at Bloom Restaurant in Ballard. The $40 meal will include a Taiwanese risotto with shiitake mushrooms and crispy taro, sesame noodles with pickled cucumber, and a mango coconut panna cotta. Reservations are available online.
MONDAY, April 28
RN74 Behind the Bottle Wine Dinner
RN74 executive chef David Varley will be serving a five-course meal at with wine pairings from Walla Walla wineries Balboa and Beresan. The $125 meal will start at 6:30 with Alaskan king crab with shaved green papaya and Balboa Riesling. Space will be limited, so call 206-456-7474 to reserve your spot.
Cupcake Royale Free Scoop Day
Cupcake Royale will be offering free scoops of its ice cream flavors from 2–8 pm to customers who download the company's FOCR (that would be Friends of Cupcake Royale) app. The Madrona and West Seattle locations won’t have scoops, but pints will be 30 percent off. Cupcake loyalists will appreciate the red velvet and salted caramel cupcake flavors.
Cider Dinner at Marjorie
Chef Dustin Calery will be cooking a Spanish-inspired dinner paired with Finnriver cider for another Monday night dinner. The night will begin with a pork belly confit on toast and a wild ramp puree, and will end with Basque-style cheese from Black Sheep Creamery and Marcona almond cookies.
