Jewelry e-tailer BaubleBar is going (temporarily) brick and mortar, setting up popups in 35 Nordstrom stores nationwide. The brand brings an exclusive line of its signature of-the-moment earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, all priced under $70.

Forbes speculates that partnering with a line known for its trendy pieces at low prices might be an effort by Nordstrom to increase sales and attract a new customer after posting three consecutive quarters of profit losses. Considering recent revamp of its Savvy department and the fact that there are now more Nordstrom Racks than traditional Nordstrom outposts, it does seem like they're going lighter on luxury to find a new audience. And with the downtown Seattle location sitting surrounded by price-conscious fast-fashion brands like H&M, Forever 21, and the new Zara store, the consumer competition is on.

All motives aside, you'll find BaubleBar statement strands and bedazzled bangles at both the Bellevue and downtown locations through spring.

For baubles of the more local variety, stop by Jamie Joseph's Essenza trunk show later this month.
