① Lake Washington Boulevard
The scenic road is closed to cars for 12 Sundays this year—can't we make that permanent?
② Fairview Avenue
If we kicked the motor vehicles off this stretch in Eastlake, we'd have a complete car-free loop around Lake Union. We're even willing to share the University Bridge!
③ The Viaduct
New York City turned its crumbling raised railway into a very thin, popular park; while Bertha (maybe) inches out a replacement tunnel, couldn't we use one layer of the waterfront viaduct for cycle traffic?
④ Magnolia Boulevard
Picture this: a ride from Downtown Seattle to Discovery Park, all on bike-only trails. It'd be a tourist favorite, with detours to some of the city's prettiest outdoor stairs.
