Update 1/31: Shop Talk received the good news that the Lovecitylove crew is extending the popup through Saturday, January 18—and adding new designers too. The gallery-like space now features awesomely minimalist menswear (actually, we think of it as unisex) from Le Notre and what organizer Jessica Carter calls "leather goods from ex-Nordstrom designer John Bonawitz."

Now. I wonder how that toast wall is doing ...

WHERE: Lovecitylove

WHAT: Cap Hill's expansive artist sanctuary has hosted many a popup since its November 2012 launch, but never a concept shopuntil now. The concept? Closed Circuit, an interactive installation that can be sensed, screened, and of course shopped.

Expect goods from local designers Rachel RavitchFaris, Kimberly Baker, April Pride, Lu, and more. Shopping takes an artistic stage with an indoor zen garden, video installation by Claire Haranda, and a sensory experience crafted by Blackbird.

Oh, and there's something about a toast wall, but you're going to have to check that one out for yourself.

WHEN: Stop by the opening night party on Friday, December 20 from 8 to 11, or come in during shop hours on December 21, 22, and 23 from 11 to 7:30.
