"The person makes something sexy or classic. I don’t necessarily think that it's the dress or the shoes that make a person look a particular way. They can enhance a woman, but ultimately, the woman makes it herself.” - Charlotte Olympia Dellal at the downtown Nordstrom on March 26.

It’s not just the blogosphere that is on the borderline of feline obsession these days. At the "Purrrfect" Popup at Nordstrom Seattle on Wednesday, March 26, Charlotte Olympia Dellal’s cat fever was on full display. An extensive range of cat-inspired shoes and accessories in pastel hues were reinvented for spring 2014 alongside her latest nautical-inspired Overboard collection.

The glamorous Brit designer—or was that Rita Hayworth?—quietly mingled and posed for photos (that leg pop!) with guests and led interested parties on a tour of her offerings. As a woman who designs for other women, Ms. Dellal’s not all about a 1.5-inch platform all the time. However, if you were looking for a simple black pump, you would have been in the wrong place. And yet the iconic flats are just as whimsical as their higher-heeled cousins; same design, material, and feminine shape.
