Rachel's Ginger Beer has a new outpost on Capitol Hill, complete with ginger beer, cocktails on tap, soft serve floats, and a food menu that's all about french fries. Hours are 12-12 daily, and the patio looks fantastic.
Edouardo Jordan has a rep as one of the most talented up-and-coming chefs in town, so the arrival of his new restaurant in Ravenna is kind of a big deal. As of today, Salare is serving dinner in both its convivial (and kid-friendly) front room and a more secluded area in back with an open kitchen.

Belltown cocktail haunt Rocco's has a stylish new sibling bar up on Broadway. Herb and Bitter is all about amaro, though we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the patio in back with a retractable roof.
Frēlard Pizza Company
Ethan Stowell's new casual, families-welcome pizza place, a sibling to his Ballard Pizza Co., quietly opened this week in (as the name might suggest) Frelard Here's the menu and link for online ordering and such.

The coffee popup that recently set up shop at Hilliard's has closed. Owner Jon French told Eater Seattle it was an old-fashioned "cash flow issue."
A former In-N-Out manager founded this chain in Shanghai, now Seattle's getting one of the first US branches, according to Eater. The U District location will have booze, 100 seats, and "tech galore."
Rhein Haus: Tacoma
Per Eater, the bierhall formerly known as Von Trapp's is opening an outpost in T-Town (not to mention a Denver location). Rhein Haus Tacoma might even include a brewery.
