Heart Plays Intimate Showbox Anniversary Gig and Jherek Bischoff Returns to the Moore
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers play their smallest Seattle show in years.
After jump-starting the summer concert season at Marymoor Park last week, local rock legend Heart looks to get super intimate for its next Seattle gig. While Wilson sisters and company can pack fans into arenas and theaters, they're downsizing their mammoth rock show for a club setting this fall. As part of The Showbox's 75th anniversary celebration, Heart heads to venue by the Market on September 18. Tickets cost $75 and go on sale this Friday, July 11 at noon via axs.com.
Speaking of local talent, acclaimed modern composer Jherek Bischoff is also planning a September return to the Seattle stage. Whether he's collaborating with David Byrne, practicing as part of an art exhibit at the Frye, or singing while playing ukulele or bass, he's always keeping active and garnering national recognition from spots like The New Yorker. He'll show off his diverse musical palate at the Moore Theatre on September 4. Tickets cost $25 and go on sale Thursday, July 10 at 10am via stgpresents.org.
