PNB's Backstage Bash Offers a Post-Dance Dance Party
To celebrate its production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, the ballet hosts a night of drinks, acrobatics, and more.
The playful humor of Pacific Northwest Ballet's A Midsummer Night's Dream is mischievous enough on its own, but PNB's Young Patrons Circle ups the ante with this year's Backstage Bash. The after-performance party—targeted at patrons in their 20s and 30s (though anyone over 21 is welcome)—offers a chance to let loose and mingle with some of the dancers in the wings of McCaw Hall. Get things started at the bar with unlimited free drinks (beer, wine, and a vodka cocktail), hors d’oeuvres, and a selection of desserts, then check out all the night's diversions. The festivities include an on stage dance party with music from DJ Skiddle, acrobatic performances, face painting by PNB's makeup artists, and more.
Tickets for the event are $25 in advance at pnb.org or can be purchased at the door for $30. The tickets do not include a include a seat for A Midsummer Night's Dream, but patrons receive 25% off tickets to the evening's ballet with their Backstage Bash purchase (or just skip the show and go straight to the party).
