The Museum of Flight is Cheap Until the Seahawks Lose
If you needed a reason to root for the hometown football team, here's a good one.
Sure, it would be nice if the Seahawks won the Super Bowl and stuff (sorry, I'm not a football fan here), but here's a great reason they shouldn't lose: The Museum of Flight is offering half-price admission to anyone who comes in Seahawks gear throughout the team's playoff run.
Admission at the museum is normally $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $10 for youth. Current temporary exhibits include an Amelia Earhart show that has the last remaining piece of one of her planes and the plane used to recreate her journey.
The museum also erected a giant "12th man" flag outside the building. For anyone who can't tell the Super Bowl from a Super Soaker, a tip: The promotion will last at least a week, since the Seahawks' first playoff game is Saturday, January 11. It could last as long as February 2, when a champion will be crowned. I didn't jinx anything, did I?
