WHAT: Vancouver-based Indochino brings its Traveling Tailor popup program to Seattle for the first time. The company specializes in affordable, custom-made menswear and accessories with items like cotton button-ups for $79, cashmere-lined leather gloves for $89, and full suits—bespoke, made-to-measure suits—starting at $429.
Suits come with 20 different free customization options, shirts with eight, giving guys a say on everything from jacket lining to button counts. During 30-minute appointments shoppers meet with fit specialists who take measurements and walk them through the different choices. Suits arrive about four weeks, and shipping is free of charge.
Can't make it to the event? Indochino's online shop offers all the same options, with step-by-step guidelines and a helpful concierge team. And because the fit is first and foremost when it comes to suiting, the company includes a tailoring credit of up to $75 for any tweaks that need to be made once the ensemble arrives.
WHEN: Find the popup downtown from October 3 to 13 from 8 to 8 on weekdays, 9 to 8 on Saturdays, and Sundays 10 to 7. Shoppers are encouraged to make an appointment using the Indochino online scheduling service.
