Nordstrom Beauty Spot
The department store rebrands its beauty department with personal stylists, a cool new website, and free samples.
Seattle-based Nordstrom is upping its beauty game with a total revamping of the store's beauty department, now dubbed the Nordstrom Beauty Spot. The fresh section features personal beauty stylists, on hand to serve customers with free advice on makeup, skincare, fragrances, and hair products across all in-store brands—no more hopping from counter to counter trying to navigate a mass of merchandise with different opinions from each brand's rep.
Our favorite new feature: The new beauty department offers free samples of almost any product. Because let's face it, makeup is expensive, and skincare can skyrocket, so this try-before-you-buy model is a huge bonus when it comes to finding the regime that works for you (or deciding if fall's dark bordeaux lips are really your thing).
To kick off the new experience, Nordstrom paired up with six beauty bloggers who shared their product picks and at-home secrets on everything from geometric nail art to taking your makeup from day to night. Check out the brand's beauty blog for tips from these tastemakers and stop by the store to get the full Beauty Spot experience.
